Best Birthday Burger
Today is B’s 24th birthday and his only request is for me to make him the best burger ever. A little pressure no? We were recently talking about different variations of what would make up the best burger. To back up a bit, burgers are probably B’s favorite food, seriously. Put a piece of ground beef patty in between two hamburger buns, slap on a slice of cheese, tomatoes, ketchup, lettuce and he’s in heaven. However, I think B’s taste preference for burgers has gotten a little picker over the years. Here are the requirements that must be present in a burger: bacon, pepperjack cheese and various sorts of “fancy” condiments. Yup, this “premium topping” bacon is the end all for him. A couple months ago, a new burger joint opened up near us called The Counter. You can customize your own burger with tons of toppings to create your ultimate burger fest. Needless to say, B loved this place, so I decided to try my hand at creating our own burgers without having to spend the $$$. Cheers to 24 years, keep on eating those burgers. The chickens love you for it.
