Making Goofy Proud…
Quick post! I’ll do a longer more detailed post later this week. Got back at 1AM this morning, lots of races to write about from this past weekend, but I will say this trip was very successful! Not only did B finish his first 5K race, we had an awesome time running the course through Epcot together. Totally worth the ridiculous entry fee in my book 
Took the half easy on Saturday, actually brought my camera to take pictures! Weather was just as cold as I was expecting, this time dressed appropriately (i.e. not tank and shorts) and felt fine for both races. Official time: 1:53:04
Sunday marathon was the best marathon ever out of the 5 marathons I have run so far. I couldn’t believe how great I felt the entire time. I will post more into details later what I think helped me the month in between CIM and this marathon. Finished with a Boston Qualifier and a PR! I still can’t believe it. I’ve waited so long for this day to come, I trained hard to qualify for Boston, but didn’t expect it to happen at this race. Official time: 3:36:51
Great weekend. Awesome race. Will be back next year to do the Goofy again!
