Interviewing Jeffrey Saad of The Next Food Network Star
Yes you read that right, I am going to be interviewing Jeffrey Saad again this coming Monday!!! I need to stop acting like a 15-year-old and get my act together, but seriously, this is better than meeting Brad Pitt in my opinion. And get this, I am interviewing him at his house in Beverly Hills where he is going to show me around his kitchen and cook samples for me. Who am I?!?! This will be the third time meeting him, but this time I will be prepared with lots of interesting questions unlike last Sunday at The Food Event, where I was just so dumbfounded that I was actually going to have a conversation with this man.
In 2009 Jeffrey was the runner up on season 5 of The Next Food Network Star. Jeffrey currently hosts a series of webisodes called the “Spice Smuggler” on foodnetwork.com. Jeffrey opened three locations of his Sweet Heat, Mexican Restaurants in San Francisco. He then became a partner in Pasta Pomodoro Italian restaurants which currently has over 30 locations in California. The reason why I love this guy so much is because he is so down to earth. He responds to fans comments on his website, he wrote me a personal e-mail thanking him for the article I had written about him, yet he still manages to get through his busy life of restaurants, food consulting, events, and owning a real estate brokerage firm. When The Next Food Network Star was on TV a couple months ago, the show was one of the highlights of our weekend (It’s been replaced by Dexter for now). We were both rooting for Jeffrey from the very beginning and we still are, so to be interviewing him in person after seeing him on T.V a couple months ago is unbelievable to me.
So if you have a question you are dying to ask, let me know! I will try my hardest to get it in during the time I have with him. I’ll post the full interview after Monday.
