The 6th Annual Food Event in Malibu

October 4, 2011

It’s that time of the year again where foodie events are springing up everywhere around Los Angeles. I have been going to The Food Event the past 2 years and always have a great time enjoying the food and wine. This is actually the sixth annual Food Event presented by Los Angeles magazine held in the beautiful Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu Hills on Sunday October 23rd. This event really is a foodie’s dream with great chefs, culinary experts, sommeliers, unlimited food, wine, beverages, and other treats, from more than 40 restaurants and wineries, all for one price. What more could you want? Did I mention that it is held on the sprawling 1,000-acre Saddlerock Ranch, nestled deep in Malibu’s Santa Monica Mountains. Spend an afternoon eating and drinking away, it’s an event not to miss!

Here is the full list of participating restaurants, great line-up! Most looking forward to Cleo, Fonuts, Lukshon, Más Malo, Manhattan Beach Post, Mo-Chica, Patina, Picca and Sotto

Demonstrations by celebrity chefs will be held in the Snyder Diamond and Miele demonstration kitchen, and panels with the experts will take place in the Voss Conversation Lounge. Coffee sampling, cupcake battles, cocktail tastings, and food and drink samplings allow guests to savor cuisine from L.A.’s best restaurants and quench their thirst with wines, beers, spirits, and water.

Tickets are $95, $100 with subscription (all demonstrations, food, beverages, and parking, fees included). $110 at the door.
